Russ Caldwell is a North Carolina born native, moving from Mooresville NC Race City at age 22 on a Roll.
A 90s Country Southern Rock Recording Artist, Singer Guitarist Songwriter, fronting his own Russ Caldwell Band as a Teen in North Carolina before he moved to Music City. Presently Based in Nashville Tn for 21 Years! Though Russ is a PRS guitar man he worked at Gibson Guitar for a year building his own Les Paul Guitar and worked several other jobs around town on his climb, got recognized and worked with award winning producer Michael Knox and made it on RCA Nashville Record Label for 3 years, as part of a 6 man group, traveling all over the USA on RCA Radio Tour promoting the groups singles and did video shoots. Played for the Troops in Japan and Guam played in Canada and Mexico. Honored to play Grand Old Opry with one of the Knox produced Artist, Got to meet his childhood hero Garth Brooks. Playing with awesome Miller Holler band several years while working a full time job as Operations Manager of the business he works for in Town.
